Aura Garcia Sanchez plays an actress in Spanish films and television. She has appeared as an actress in Stockholm as well as the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is a conductor of orchestras and composer, while Pilar Sanchez paints. When she took her first piano class when she was four years old, she started to learn ballet. The person she was most close to was she was an English native, so she learned to speak English through her. After finishing her high school studies her, she attended the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. There she studied the art of interpretation for three years with a focus on translation of text. But she quit at the end of 2010 after she secured the role of Planes para manana. The role she played in the film was rewarded with the Silver Biznaga and nominations for Goya Awards, including the best new actress.
