Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. who was a tool and die maker who previously employed as a laborer for a manufacturing company. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone, who was gifted in the classroom as a young child, began her second grade education at the age of five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. Her graduation was in 1975. The Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone win Miss Crawford County. Stone moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to explore a career as a model. In less than a month she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. In Europe, she spent a full year in Milano and Paris. Stone however became disillusioned in Europe with the modelling industry and opted to go to acting. Woody Allen's film, "Stardust Memories", got mixed praise in her 20s.
